Guale
Georgia
and South Carolina have been blessed with some of the most
spectacular coastal terrain in the world. We
provide an opportunity for visitors to experience an
intimate view of this unique wilderness.
We have developed standard excursions to
accommodate a variety of interests. These include
wildlife/landscape photography, hiking barrier islands, bird
watching and intercoastal cruises. Additionally, we offer
custom trips to fit your specific needs.
Area
of Operations
Two
areas in particular, the Georgia coast south of Tybee and
the ACE Basin in S.C., remain largely unchanged since
Europeans came to this country. Boat transport is
essential to fully appreciate these areas. We invite
you to travel with us through winding tidal rivers bounded
by vast plains of salt marsh. This land, dotted
with windswept coastal islands, provides a home to a wide
variety of birds, animals and plants. Experience the
Guale Coast much as it was when the Spanish first called it
such in the late 1500's.
Tybee Cottage
Rental
We
will also offer accommodations on Tybee. A two-bedroom
cottage with floating dock on Horse Pen creek is available
for guests who may wish to stay on the island.
